Notes on Intel Celeron 600 MHz |
- The processor is usually marked as 600/128/66/1.5V, 600/128/66/1.7V or 600/128/66/1.75V,
where the last number specifies processor's core voltage. If the
processor is marked with RB80526RX600128 part number then use processor
specification number to identify processor's core voltage

CPU ID information for the Celeron 600 MHz
Detailed characteristics of processor's internals, including x86
instruction set extensions and individual instructions, high- and low-level
technologies, are listed below. This list was acquired from an actual
Intel Celeron 600 processor with the help of the x86 CPUID instruction. Any
discrepancies between CPUID features and official specifications are
likely due to some features being disabled in BIOS, or due to a bug in
our CPUID decoding algorithm.
Different steppings of Intel processors may also have slightly different features.
Our CPUID database contains 2 records for this microprocessor. See all submitted records.

Flip-Chip Grid Array package (socket 370)
While all Mendocino Celerons required 2V core voltage, many Coppermine
Celerons were produced with a few different core voltage requirements.
This microprocessor, RB80526RX600128, could have 1.5, 1.7 and 1.75 Volt
core. Faster processors (up to 850 MHz) were produced with core voltages
ranging from 1.65 to 1.75 Volt, and top of the line Coppermine Celerons
required 1.75 Volt core. Even at 1.75V Coppermine Celerons were much
less power hungry than Mendocino Celerons. For example, Celeron 600
processor has the same maximum power dissipation as Celeron 366 or
Celeron 400. |
